Napa Valley Independent Studies (K-12) will educate all students to become College & Career Ready and beyond by:

• Providing access to a rigorous, relevant, inquiry-infused, College & Career Ready Standards curriculum to all students.

• Inspiring all students to excel academically.

• Building supportive relationships in a safe learning environment.

• Honoring the unique qualities and diverse backgrounds of all students.

• Motivating students to pursue their chosen life paths by working with partners, parents, and the community.

• Meeting the social and emotional needs of individual students

• A Valid California Administrative Services Credential;
• Master’s Degree with an emphasis in curriculum, instruction, leadership and administration preferred;
• A minimum of five (5) years of successful classroom teaching; and
• Possession of a CLAD certificate or an emergency CLAD permit is required.
