BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF POSITIONS:

Elementary Assistant Principal 

Serves under the supervision of the Elementary School Principal as an educational leader. Works with students in the areas of attendance and discipline and assumes the duties of the principal during his/her absence.

Secondary Assistant Principal 

Under general supervision of the principal, assists in the administration of a comprehensive senior high school, administers delegated functions which may include development of a Master Class Schedule, evaluation and supervision of the school curriculum and instruction program, coordination and supervision of student activities, assisting in developing the school budget; and other related work as required.

CREDENTIAL:

Elementary Administration, General Administration or Administrative Services Credential

EDUCATION:
Masters Degree, including all courses needed to meet credential requirements.

EXPERIENCE:
5 years of successful teaching experience. Administrative experience at either an elementary, middle, or high school is desirable.
