Glenbrook North High School seeks a dynamic educational professional to serve as the next Associate Dean. The position is scheduled to commence on July 28, 2026.
The Associate Dean is responsible for student support, promoting building safety, and contributing to the development of a positive and welcoming climate. The Associate Dean is responsible for investigating and resolving all student discipline concerns in accordance with Board Policy and the Illinois School Code, as well as partnering with members of Student Support Teams.
Applicants should hold the following education/experience qualifications:
Master’s degree in Educational Leadership or related field.
Professional Educator License with a General Administration or Principal endorsement.
Minimum of three (3) years of experience in a High School setting preferred.
Current knowledge pertaining to best practices in student discipline and student support, interventions, attendance, discipline, and student safety.
Ability to remain calm under pressure and provide leadership in emergency situations.
Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Board of Education may find appropriate and acceptable.

This position comes with a competitive compensation package, family health and dental insurance, full tuition reimbursement, and basic life insurance coverage of up to two times the individual's annual base salary, capped at a maximum of $500,000. The base salary for licensed administrators will be determined by their placement on the teacher salary schedule, with an additional position-specific factor of 1.11, resulting in a salary range of $96,597to $124,959.
