High School Social Studies Teacher
The Social Studies department offers a broad and challenging program; a sequential group of courses builds a body of knowledge, fosters critical thinking, and develops skills in research, writing, and oral expression. The High School Social Studies Teacher should be able to teach World Civilizations I (grade 9), World Civilizations II (grade 10), and United States History up to and including AP level (grade 11). Students at ASL study a number of AP courses, including Human Geography, Psychology, European History, Art History, and Economics.
