Glenbrook South High School seeks a dynamic educational professional to serve as the next Instructional Supervisor for Science. The position is scheduled to commence on July 28, 2026.

The primary purpose of this position is to provide leadership in the areas of instructional improvement, teacher evaluation, curriculum development, and other related instructional areas. This position serves as the primary instructional leader in the department, fulfilling both teaching and leadership duties and responsibilities.

Applicants should hold the following education/experience qualifications:

1. Master’s degree in the content area preferred or a Master’s degree in Education.
2. Professional Educator License with a General Administration or Principal endorsement.
3. Minimum of five (5) years of experience in teaching the corresponding content area in a High School setting.
4. Minimum of two (2) years of experience in delivering professional development opportunities to staff or instructional leadership-related activities (preferred).
5. Teacher Evaluator Designation (preferred).
6. Current and extensive knowledge pertaining to best practices in Curriculum and Instruction (C&I) and in the content area. 
7. Ability to work positively and productively with adults and high school-age students.
8. Ability to present and produce documents at a high level of sophistication.
9. Ability to make rational decisions, problem-solve, and effectuate change.
10. Ability to learn and stay abreast of changes in policy, C&I, and content area standards.
