GENERAL DESCRIPTION:Under the supervision of the Assistant Superintendent of Educational Services or designee, the Director of Curriculum and Instruction provides leadership and coordination in the ongoing development and improvement of the instructional programs of the District. MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES AND ESSENTIAL DUTIES: Provide leadership, direction, and accountability for the development, implementation, and evaluation of TK-12 curriculum and instruction, and ensure alignment with the District’s Local Control Accountability Plan (LCAP), initiatives, and goals.
