Cincinnati Hills Christian Academy seeks an experienced, passionate, and visionary Director of Fine Arts to lead and oversee all aspects of CHCA's Fine Arts programs. The Director will provide leadership and strategic direction for the arts curriculum, faculty, and facilities while fostering a dynamic and creative environment for students, staff, and the community. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the fine arts, strong administrative skills, and a commitment to cultivating artistic talent and academic excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee the Fine Arts program working with Head of School, Principals, and Fine Arts faculty and staff to provide outstanding classroom, after-school, and enrichment opportunities for students.
Working with building principals, monitor and develop Fine Arts programs to ensure excellence and further develop classes and opportunities for students and the CHCA community.
Manage Theater Technical Director, theater, and sound/technical needs across campuses for Fine Arts and non-Fine Arts events.
Work closely with all Fine Arts faculty to ensure they have the support, equipment, and supplies necessary for programs.
Recruit, present, and recommend qualified Fine Arts faculty and staff for all open and new positions to principals.
Prepare, submit, and administer a Fine Arts school budget annually in conjunction with building principals.
Review Fine Arts programs for short- and long-term needs and development.
Work closely with the Advancement Department to maintain relationships with donors to raise funds for CHCA Fine Arts.
Oversee and facilitate ArtBeat.
Oversee and plan two high school plays and one high school musical, a middle school musical, numerous concerts, Overture Awards regional competition, and seasonal programs.
Manage the Dance Academy and Private Music Lesson programs.
Oversee and facilitate the Arts Hall of Fame.
Serve as a non-voting member of the Friends of Fine Arts Board.
Oversee and manage the Music Scholarships.
Qualifications:
Master's degree in Fine Arts, Arts Administration, or a related field (Doctorate preferred).
Proven experience (at least 5 years) in arts administration, academic leadership, or program development.
Strong background in fine arts education, with expertise in at least one specific discipline (e.g., visual arts, theater, music, or dance).
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
Ability to work effectively with diverse populations, including students, faculty, staff, and community stakeholders.
Demonstrated commitment to fostering an inclusive and innovative learning environment.
Experience in budget management and resource allocation.
A strong network in the fine arts community and experience building external relationships.
