Wildwood Elementary School is one of three elementary schools in Piedmont, CA (~11,000 residents) nestled in the hills of the San Francisco Bay Area. It serves around 275 students in grades K-5 in the Piedmont Unified School District. Wildwood Elementary is a special place where children, educators, parents and community members come together as a school community. Teacher Specialists in Art, Library, Math, Music, PE, Reading, Science, and Technology, Classroom Paraeducators, Counselors, Administrative and Custodial staff help enrich our offerings and work closely with our dedicated Teachers to provide a comprehensive elementary program for ALL students. With our partner schools, Beach and Havens Elementary Schools, we are intentional in working together to support the Trischool Vision of Academic Excellence. Noticing our students for who they are as individuals and operating from core beliefs that all of our students can learn at high levels, we work as a team to provide quality instruction that promotes creative and critical thinking in a safe, nurturing environment. A natural synergy emerges when we bring together experienced educators, supportive parents and thoughtful learners. Our school values are Be Respectful, Be Responsible, Be Inclusive, and Be A Problem Solver.
Also located in Piedmont, CA is Havens Elementary School. The original school opened in 1901 and was newly built in 2010 to accommodate around 450 students. Havens Elementary is the largest of our 3 elementary sites. All elementary sites work together to support the Trischool Vision of Academic Excellence in an inclusive learning environment bolstered by a strong team of professionals and an engaged parent community. The faculty of Havens Elementary School is firm in their resolve to bring a world class education to our students. Classroom teachers, teacher specialists in music, art, library, reading, math, technology and special education collaborate to integrate curriculum in order to best meet the academic, social and emotional needs of our students. We strive to cultivate critical thinking, social responsibility and collaboration in students and faculty alike. Our support staff of custodians, office staff, para educators, counselors and administrators work with students, families and staff to maintain a supportive learning environment for all students so that they can realize their potential.
