DESCRIPTION:
The principal is responsible for the leadership, administration and outcome of all aspects of the educational program. The ideal candidate for this leadership role will possess a strong drive for successful student outcomes to ensure that the school is data driven and focused on student achievement results. The District is seeking a dynamic leader with excellent communication skills dedicated to creating and maintaining a positive school culture. The Principal must possess the strong ability to build effective relationships and facilitate positive collaboration with all stakeholders in a highly engaged parent community.
The principal must be able to translate the needs of elementary school students into a well organized and effective 21st century elementary school. Curriculum knowledge, strong communication skills and sensitivity to individual student needs are essential qualifications. Duties will include the following:
