St. Monica Parish in Whitefish Bay Wisconsin is seeking an experienced principal to lead its school. Located on the north shore of Milwaukee, St. Monica Parish School educates over 400 children in K3-8th grade. Rich in tradition and rooted in Catholic values, St. Monica School is a vibrant, faith-filled, and generous community. Reporting Relationships and Responsibilities:
The school is under the guidance and leadership of our dynamic new Pastor Fr. Mark Payne, and reports directly to Rebecca Jones, Executive Director, St. Eugene and St. Monica Schools. The St. Monica School Principal serves as the leader of the school, coach, and mentor to over 40 faculty and staff, including one Assistant Principal. The position is also an integral part of the Executive Director’s team and will contribute to the development and implementation of curriculum and policies in alignment with the school’s mission and aligned with the National Standards and Benchmarks for Effective Catholic Schools.

Implements the school’s mission and vision and supports Catholic Social Teachings
Actively integrates the school with the overall parish community and activities
Academic Excellence:
Implements a curriculum aligned to Archdiocese of Milwaukee standards and Catholic values
Supervise and support teaching staff in professional development and school initiatives
Leadership:
Hires, develops, coaches, supports, and motivates a faculty of approximately 40 faculty and staff
Fosters a culture of respect, trust, support, and affirmation of Catholic values and accountability
Communicates effectively with faculty, staff, parents, students, and the greater parish community
Implements an effective Catholic based behavior and discipline policy
Operations & Vitality:
Oversee school advancement including development, marketing, and fundraising efforts in collaboration with Executive Leadership
Manage school budget in collaboration with Executive Leadership and the parish business office
Work in collaboration with St. Eugene School our parish cluster partner
Qualifications:
A Master’s Degree in Educational Administration and a Wisconsin Administrator License
Minimum 3 years’ experience as a principal of a medium to large K-8 school
A practicing Catholic able to participate in the sacramental life of the Church
