The annual starting salary will range from $126,557—$161,018 (full range $126,557 - $184,771) annually based on the Administrative Salary Schedule, plus a Health & Welfare Benefit Package. Placement on the salary schedule is dependent upon the experience and qualifications of the candidate.
Administrators who hold a Master’s Degree from an accredited institution in a field related to K-12 education shall be paid an annual stipend of $1,100 for a full year of service.

Gridley is a small town that loves company! Located in the heart of the beautiful Sacramento Valley at the foot of the world’s smallest mountain range, the Sutter Buttes, you will find the picturesque agricultural community of Gridley. It is approximately 60 miles north of Sacramento and 30 miles south of Chico. It is a rural area with an estimated population just over 7,600.
There are two nearby community colleges and a state university located within 30 miles of Gridley. Chico State University offers a credentialing program which keeps the District well-supplied with highly qualified teachers.
The Gridley Unified School District is comprised of five school sites: McKinley Primary School (TK-1) Wilson Elementary School (2-5) Sycamore Middle School (6-8) Gridley High School (9-12) Esperanza High School (Alternative Education, 11-12)

Sycamore Middle School has an enrollment of approximately 440 students supported by 23 teachers. A progressive MTSS intervention program supports all students’ academic, social emotional and behavioral needs.

Valid California Teaching Credential with English Learner Authorization
Valid California School Administrative Credential
Five (5) years of teaching experience.
Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university. Masters Degree from an accredited college or university preferred.

Skills:
Knowledge of development and administrative principles, philosophies, and practices of public K-12 school level educational systems, specifically for grades 6-8;
Ability to plan and direct operational functions of high school site;
Experience in developing, implementing, and supervising Common Core Standards-based curricular programs that have improved the educational achievement of all students;
Demonstrated ability to build team cohesiveness and rapport, with a proven record of creating an atmosphere that pro-motes professional satisfaction and trust, elicits high performance and recognizes a high efficient staff;
Articulate communicator who is able to communicate effectively and tactfully in both oral and written forms;
Demonstrates an ability to provide clear leadership while empowering employees to do superior work.
