De La Salle North Catholic High School is a faith-based learning community empowering low-income students with limited educational opportunities. De La Salle North Catholic nurtures a Lasallian Catholic culture and integrates rigorous college preparatory curriculum with practical workplace experience, thereby preparing students for college and career. De La Salle North Catholic is sponsored by the Brothers of the Christian Schools (www.delasalle.org) and is a member of the Cristo Rey Network (www.cristoreynetwork.org). The school opened in August 2001 and currently has approximately 240 students. De La Salle North Catholic moved to its new and permanent campus in the summer of 2021.
 
De La Salle North Catholic utilizes a Corporate Work Study Program modeled after the program started at Cristo Rey High School in Chicago, which has now been replicated by 38 schools across the country, forming the Cristo Rey Network. Under the Corporate Work Study Program, each student is employed one day per week by a local business or community agency to provide tuition assistance and complement the school’s on-site curricular program.
 
Reporting directly to the President, the Principal will be a dynamic leader committed to the education of the young, especially the historically underserved. The Principal must demonstrate a record of academic leadership, executive management, and the achievement of innovative operational and strategic goals. A visionary leader is sought, one who is active in the Catholic faith and who can effectively represent and articulate the school’s mission to its various constituencies. 
  
Commencement: Assume responsibilities by July 1, 2023.

2. Have received a MA in education, leadership or a related field, and an Administrative License.
3. The candidate must possess and model strong leadership skills.

5. Desire collaborative team management.
6. Be committed to understanding and embracing the cultural backgrounds of students and families.
7. Exhibit both excellent written and oral communication skills.
8. Have experience as a supervisor of personnel with budgetary responsibility.
9. Be a knowledgeable and practicing Roman Catholic who sees their commitment to Catholic education as a ministry.
