The principal serves as an ethical educational leader who promotes student success by providing a strong and well-developed vision for teaching and learning while also creating the conditions necessary to ensure a school culture that supports the success of this vision. As an instructional leader for the high school, the principal will dedicate a significant amount of their time working to achieve the teaching and learning goals of the district. The principal is expected to maintain strong ties to students, faculty, and the community both in the school day and beyond. In partnership with the principal of the other campus, and through the leadership of the building administration, the principal will support students in their transition to high school, between campuses, and beyond high school into colleges and careers.
Lake Park High School District #108 is a four-year public high school occupying two campuses, both located in Roselle, Illinois, a western suburb of Chicago. Freshmen and sophomores attend the East Campus (the original campus built in 1956), located near Medinah, and juniors and seniors attend the West Campus. Students from Roselle, Medinah, Bloomingdale, Itasca, Wood Dale, Keeneyville, and Hanover Park attend the school.
