Pony Express’s new principal will be required to work with stakeholders - including teachers, staff and a strong PTA - to build a foundation of equity and access that prepares students for advancement within the district, and for postsecondary success in college and careers. The school’s student body of approximately 375 students reflects the rich diversity and culture of its geographic location: 43% of its students are Hispanic/Latino, 18% Asian, and 11% African-American.
