In the upcoming 2021-2022 school year, our parish school of over 200 students will continue to offer a Catholic Classical education from pre-kindergarten through 8th grade in the Roman Catholic Diocese of Fort Worth, Texas. We are looking for an experienced principal to lead our school in partnering with parents in the education and formation of children in truth, goodness, and beauty through a Christ-centered environment of challenging academics and service. Through this partnership, we aim for each child to become an intentional disciple of Jesus Christ, prepared to respond to God’s call.
Saint Maria Goretti has a long-standing history of educating and forming students in the tradition of the Catholic faith. In partnership with Nolan Catholic High School and diocesan leadership, Saint Maria Goretti is currently implementing a classical education program to further enhance the tradition of academic excellence.
The principal serves as the spiritual, academic, and overall leader of the school. The charge given to the principal is to implement strategies that serve to fulfill the mission and vision of Saint Maria Goretti School and to continually improve the school as a whole.
A successful candidate must be a practicing Catholic in good standing with a commitment to ongoing formation. The candidate should understand how a Catholic worldview permeates both curriculum and instruction and must be an intentional disciple of Christ committed to providing a Gospel witness. Applicants must hold a bachelor’s degree and master’s degree and have current or previous experience as a school principal and a familiarity with classical education.
