The Technology Innovation Coach will work to promote teacher innovation and reflection on the Wornall Campus (Grades EY-5th). In order to meet this purpose, the Innovation Coach will provide personalized support based on the goals and identified needs of teachers, both individually and in small groups, along with working with the MS and US Technology Coaches to deliver a unified approach to technology integration and device management.  Pembroke Hill is committed to a culturally competent education.

Key responsibilities and accountabilities:

1. Perform tasks and complete projects assigned by the Lower School Principal and Early Childhood Principal, in coordination with the needs of other divisions.
2. Assist the Wornall Campus Administration with
   1. Designing and implementing technology professional development
   2. Device management
   3. Identifying, selecting, and developing resources to support learning.
   4. Assist in the implementation of NWEA MAP and any other assessments. 
3. Meet and communicate on a regular basis with the EC and LS principals, the Ward Parkway Technology Coaches, the I/T department staff and the LS curriculum coordinator.
4. Continually research new concepts and ideas regarding the use of technology in the classroom.
5. Establish, maintain and enhance effective communication with administrators, teachers, parents and other stakeholders, as appropriate.
6. Observe teachers in their classrooms and offer insights for the enhancement of technology applications.
7. Actively meet with teachers to plan the integration of technology into core instruction.
8. Instruct and support teachers with curriculum hardware, software, & traditional resources, and classroom/curriculum/instructional related technologies and practices.
9. Encourage ongoing professional growth for all teachers.
10. Teach the PHS Digital Citizenship lessons to all Wornall Campus students, in alignment with the Core Values in Action program.
11. Co-teach and model lessons as needed.  
12. Maintain and instruct students in the iLab based on curricular objectives.  
13. Facilitate the use of research-based instructional technology teaching strategies and best practices to address the needs of teachers, students, and school goals.
