Preferred candidates have experience as a teacher leader, K-12 building level principal or district/central office instructional leader. Our faculty members must be experts at facilitating professional learning sessions and have extensive successful experience in coaching educational professionals. Subject matter expertise in ELA, Math or Sciences is highly preferred.
Faculty positions vary and may include independent contract, part time, or full time status depending on LSI/Partner contract requirements.
The position may require extensive travel.
Facilitate professional learning sessions for teachers/leaders
Provide leadership coaching to teacher/leaders
Implement research-based model of school support that includes root cause analysis, strategic planning, and coaching to action
Communicate progress of implementation to internal and external stakeholders through multiple means of communication including written data reports, onsite and virtual discussions and presentations.
Complete appropriate documentation related to implementation efforts and ensure collection of research data as specified by project needs
Become an LSI Body of Work subject matter expert
Teacher leader, School Principal, or Central Office Instructional Leadership
Minimum 5 years as a K-12 educator
Expert professional learning facilitator
Experience in adult coaching and adult learning theory
Extensive experience in using data to inform instructional decisions
Proven ability to integrate technology tools to improve outcomes
Drive for Intellectual Curiosity
Listens and communicates effectively in multiple environments including virtual space
Ability to establish credibility and build relationships while holding others accountable for actions.
Additional Salary Information: Positions will be compensated based on need of contract. May be Independent Contractor role, part time, or full time. Full Time positions are eligible for full benefit package.
