The School Site Coordinator (SSC) will manage all 21st Century Learning Community program activities at their respective school sites. They will serve as the on-site liaison between the principal, parents, school staff, project and instructional staff. The SSC will ensure that the necessary scheduling, logistics and infrastructure support is provided to the project. The SSC will lead participant recruitment efforts, work with instructional providers on participant retention and collaborate with all staff on the project to guarantee program equity, quality and consistency. They will also work with service providers, project staff and the evaluation team to collect reporting and evaluation data.
Specific Duties include, but are not limited to;
Plan, coordinate and lead program activities within the school.
Maintain positive and effective communication lines with the principal, school staff, parents, students, project and instructional staff.
Coordinate with logistics and infrastructure support with the school principal and staff.
Responsible for successful recruitment and retention of students and parents in the program.
Assist in data collection.
Bachelors degree is preferred in related field (i.e. Social Work, Psychology, Youth Development)
After school programming experience.
Effective written and verbal communication skills
Experience working in a school setting preferred.
Experience managing data and tracking trends.
Strong computer and data entry skills.
