The Academy of the Sacred Heart is seeking a Director of Strategic Enrollment Management to begin immediately.
The Academy of the Sacred Heart, a member of the Network of Sacred Heart Schools, is a Catholic, independent coeducational school for children ages 3 through Grade 8 located in historic Saint Charles, MO. Drawing from the strength of the Goals and Criteria of Sacred Heart Education, the Academy endeavors to educate and inspire the heart and mind of each child to become a courageous and confident leader who knows and loves God, and who reveals that love by serving others.
The Director of Enrollment Management provides leadership for and manages all aspects of the recruitment, admissions, and enrollment processes. S/he researches, monitors, understands and analyzes emerging local, regional and national trends that affect enrollment trends and prepares and maintains dashboard data regarding geographical distribution of students, enrollment and attrition. S/he interprets and reports on this data, when appropriate, to the Leadership Team, faculty, and Board of Trustees. S/he collaborates on strategic planning in support of enrollment trends and goals. S/he coordinates the recruitment and continuous enrollment program. S/he is responsible for planning events that serve to draw prospective students and their families to the Academy. The Director of Enrollment Management monitors attrition and retention, and organizes specific efforts targeted to optimize enrollment/retention. S/he meets or exceeds enrollment goals for all target recruitment areas.
S/he serves as a member of the admissions committee and supports the tuition assistance program. A member of the Leadership Team, the Director of Enrollment Management works closely with other school leaders, led by the Head of School, to implement the School’s strategic initiatives, manage the budget, and develop the School’s policies and calendar. Beyond internal constituents, s/he establishes, maintains and grows relationships with feeder schools and other institutions to attract mission appropriate families.
The ideal candidate has 3-5 years admissions experience in a college, independent, or Catholic school setting and possesses a Bachelor’s degree, preferably in marketing, communications, or education. S/he demonstrates excellent writing and communication skills, a capacity for organization, and flexibility. Prior experience with leadership in an independent or Catholic school, success in sales/marketing, and experience working with a database management system (e.g. RenWeb) are valued but not required skills. S/he has a deep understanding of independent school culture, actively supports and participates in the life of the school, and is committed to living a life consistent with the Academy’s mission.
