St. Charles Catholic School (Diocese of Spokane) is seeking an elementary school principal. A successful candidate must be a practicing Catholic, have a minimum of five years educational experience (prefer principal experience), hold a current Washington State principal certificate, or is able to obtain one, and be willing to assume responsibility for the day-to-day operation and administration of the school.
The ideal candidate will possess effective financial management skills, be willing to work closely with the pastor and the other parish ministries, and possess excellent communication skills. He/she will have experience in curriculum development and assessment, development of instructional strategies, grant writing, school financial development/fundraising, school building maintenance, human resource management, and early childhood programs. The salary is competitive and benefits include medical, dental and retirement.
