We are looking for a leader who shares our passion for education tailored to each child and has the expertise, caring, and professionalism to contribute to our mission. You’ll lead our 40 student programs, support our close-knit team of 4 teachers and collaborate with our partnering public and private schools.
The Principal will provide the day-to-day leadership and management of all educational and operational aspects of the school, including:
Collaboration with families and teachers to create customized educational programs and help students reach clear, academic goals.
Oversight of student programs and admissions
Daily communication with students, teachers, parents
Teacher hiring, development, and support
Partnering with local public and private schools and professionals
Planning and managing student-teacher schedules
Coordinating and leading regular meetings with families and teachers
Enhancing systems and procedures for current and future schools
Our school is open year-round from Monday - Thursday. Compensation includes a base salary, bonus opportunity, paid time off, and a retirement plan.
The successful candidate will possess the following qualities and skills:

Excellent email/phone/in-person communication
Enjoys supporting students and collaborating with teachers, families and partner schools
Flexible and relentlessly positive “people person”
Thorough; attentive to details and accuracy
Contributor to continually improving programs and processes
Ability to align individuals with unique interests into a shared purpose
Master’s degree in Education
WA State teacher certificate (principal certificate preferred)
5+ years teaching experience (HS level preferred)
3+ years administrative experience
Special education expertise
