Principal at Chino Valley High School for the 2017-2018 school year beginning July 1, 2017. The successful candidate for CVHS Principal will have the following attributes:
• An outstanding visionary leader who empowers and motivates staff to continuously improve while holding them accountable • Demonstrated instructional leader • Experienced site administrator • Knowledge and appreciation of Career and Technical Education • Knowledge and appreciation of dual enrollment/Advanced Placement • Knowledge of addressing the needs of special populations (i.e. gifted, ELL, special education) • Strong Management/problem solving skills • Strong communication skills • Ability to work with strategic partners (i.e. YC, MIJTED) • Understands the role of a high school in a small town • Spanish speaker a plus
• Currently possess or be able to obtain an Arizona Administrative Certificate issued through the Arizona Department of Education. • Currently possess or be able to obtain an Arizona fingerprint clearance card issued through the Arizona Department of Public Safety. • Teaching experience in a public school system (secondary teaching experience preferred). • Master's Degree from an accredited college or university.

Additional Salary Information: The actual salary will be determined based on the successful candidate's education and years of experience and will be determined utilizing the calculation in District policy GCBB-Administrative Staff Contracts and Compensation/Salary Schedules.

Chino Valley School District was established in 1918 to serve the communities of Chino Valley and Paulden in Northcentral Arizona.
