The School District of Osceola County is looking for an experienced and highly motivated instructional leader to take on a unique opportunity to become the first Principal of a new STEM Demonstration Magnet high school. Plans are currently underway for Osceola County’s STEM Demonstration Magnet High School to be built in NeoCity, in partnership with Osceola County Board of County Commissioners, the University of Central Florida, and Bridg.
The school, which is set to open in August 2018, will support the need to develop a specialized talent pipeline to support the new economy being developed through NeoCity. Students from across the district who apply to attend and who are selected will be provided with rigorous hands-on learning opportunities in STEM fields, such as Engineering/Advanced Manufacturing, Biomedical Engineering, and Cybersecurity. Students will have the opportunity for Dual Enrollment advanced academic and STEM coursework with the University of Central Florida, and have direct enrollment opportunities with the college upon graduation.
