The International School of the Peninsula (ISTP) seeks a Middle School Science Teacher to work as a Long Term Substitute from January through June 2018.
The Middle School Science Teacher must demonstrate commitment to ISTP’s mission and the population we serve, as well as be experienced with teaching science at the Middle School level. He or she must also be responsible, self-motivated, friendly, willing to work with a team of colleagues, and be accepting and adaptable to a working environment with different cultures.
The position involves teaching science to 6th through 8th graders in a rigorous small school environment. ISTP seeks teachers who know how to combine academic rigor with student engagement and have experience with inquiry-based teaching and learning.
3 years experience teaching middle school children preferred
Experience with the Middle Years Program (MYP) of the International Baccalaureate (IB) preferred
